5 Must-Haves in your Destin Beach Bag

You finally made it to your favorite beach town. You’ve checked-in and unpacked, now it’s time for the beach. The weather is just right for you to spend a whole day relaxing on powder white sand. What you pack for the beach is key to successfully staying all day! Here are 5 Must-Haves to keep you comfortable while soaking up the sun.

Sun Block

The sun is potent during summer, so sun block is a must. Depending on how much exposure you’ve gotten recently to the sun you’ll want to choose the SPF that’s right for you. We love Sun Block in a spray bottle because it’s easy to apply evenly whether you are wet from a dip in the Gulf of Mexico or dry. Remember to apply multiple times throughout the day so you won’t be mistaken for a lobster.

Sunglasses

Our eyes can be extremely sensitive to sunlight. Sunglasses can protect you from irritating bright lights and harmful UV radiation. So, cover those baby blues with a pair of well fitted shades to keep out the rays and prevent wrinkles from squinting. Sunglasses are also quite fashionable making you feel and look beach ready!

Beach Towel

The beaches of Destin, Florida have incredible powder white sand but that doesn’t mean you want it all over you. A big bright colored beach towel makes a great barrier between you and the sand, allowing you to comfortably bask in the sun. No matter how careful we are with our phone, wallet, and keys they are bound to get wet as well as sandy. While most phones today are water resistant, we can’t afford to take the chance of being without!  After all, our phones are our cameras, our watches, our Google, and our GPS.
