Boggy Bayou Mullet Festival

Are y'all ready for this?!?  What started as a small gathering of the local townspeople 42 years ago to discuss the mullet industry has turned into one of the most enduring (and endearing!) family festivals in the South. Located in Niceville at the intersection of State Road 85 North and College Blvd, just north of the city of Destin, the three-day festival features a variety of musical entertainment.  This year Tyler Farr, Tracy Byrd, Montgomery Gentry, the Sweet Tea Trio, and several other groups will be performing.  With amusement rides, an art exhibit, crafts and more, this is a great festival for the entire family.  Now let's talk food!  Delicious mullet cooked all kinds of ways, but if you're hankering for something else, this festival will not disappoint! Cajun food, seafood, Asian food, you name it.
